Coming together for community day
More than 900 Mirvac people came together for this year’s National Community Day, taking part in over 45 volunteering activities across Australia.
Working alongside community partners including OzHarvest, The Salvation Army and the Property Industry Foundation, our teams supported initiatives focused on food relief and improving local spaces.
Across the day, our people contributed:
- 11,000+ meals created
- 3,000kg of food donated
- 600 hampers packed
- 100+ community spaces improved – with a special thanks for the support of Dulux Group who supplied us with a huge volume of paint, brushes and supplies
- 300+ plants in the ground
- 5,600 volunteering hours.
Each activity responded to local needs and reflected our shared commitment to giving back.
As Mirvac Group CEO & Managing Director Campbell Hanan said:
“Community Day is a great reminder of what we can achieve when we come together. It’s encouraging to see our people supporting the communities we’re part of, not just on one day, but throughout the year.
While Community Day is a highlight, it’s part of a broader, ongoing effort. Through year-round volunteering and partnerships, our people continue to support the communities where we operate.”
