Our Culture

200 George St ground looking up A key part of Mirvac’s vision is to build a diverse team and inclusive culture that values different perspectives.

What sets our workforce apart

Mirvac’s team is our most valuable asset, and we invest in our people accordingly. A huge part of this is creating a positive workplace environment, where people are respected, encouraged and rewarded.

Over the years, we’re proud to have built a culture of inclusivity, innovation and collaboration, becoming a place where people genuinely want to work. We feel fortunate to have so many talented, purpose-driven individuals on our team.

AFR BOSS BEST PLACE TO WORK FOR THE PROPERTY SECTOR

The AFR Boss Best Places to Work awards recognise organisations that are pioneering new ways of working and pushing the boundaries when it comes to workplace policies and practices. Mirvac won the top spot in the 2022 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work list for the Property, Construction and Transport sector.

Living our values

At Mirvac, our overarching purpose is to reimagine urban life. Day-to-day, we do this by living the values we’ve defined for ourselves.

We put people first.
This means we listen to, understand and respond to our customers and treat all people with respect. It also means we support the professional development of our people and encourage flexibility for better work/life balance.

We’re passionate about quality and legacy.
Through our work, we strive to deliver enduring customer-focused quality, and leave a positive legacy in the communities in which we operate.

We collaborate.
We build trusted relationships and leverage the power of working as one team within our business and with our partners.

We’re curious and bold.
We’re not afraid to explore what’s possible, be bold in our actions, and ask ‘why not?’.

How we work is as important as what we do.
We’re leaders in safety, sustainability, innovation, inclusion and learning – these things set us apart.

We are genuine and do the right thing.
Our people are down to earth, we take ownership, and we do what we say we’ll do.

Diversity & equality

At Mirvac, we believe that diverse perspectives and an inclusive culture are fundamental to delivering better outcomes for our people, our customers and our business. We are focused on creating an environment where everyone feels safe, respected and empowered to contribute and grow.

Our approach to diversity, equity and inclusion is embedded in how we attract, develop and support our people. We prioritise gender equity, inclusive leadership, flexibility and increasing representation—particularly in areas where diversity has historically been underrepresented.

We continue to make meaningful progress on gender equality. In the 2024–25 Workplace Gender Equality Agency reporting period, we maintained a tenth consecutive year of a zero like‑for‑like gender pay gap and improved our results across all measured pay gap dimensions. Women now represent 47% of senior management, reflecting deliberate action to strengthen leadership representation and equitable career pathways. We are focused on sustaining this progress while continuing to address our organisational gender pay gap through targeted initiatives and future commitments.

We are also committed to building an inclusive culture for LGBTQ+ employees and the broader community. In 2026, Mirvac was recognised as a Gold Tier employer in the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI), reflecting sustained progress in inclusion, strong allyship and visible leadership support across our business. This achievement reflects the collective efforts of our people, Pride Committee and allies, and reinforces our focus on building a strong sense of belonging for all employees.

We continue to invest in future talent and industry inclusion through partnerships such as our ongoing support of the Pinnacle Foundation, helping to create pathways into property and construction for LGBTQ+ students.

Our reconciliation journey remains a priority. We are working in partnership with Reconciliation Australia to progress our next Reconciliation Action Plan, while continuing to deliver on our existing commitments and embed meaningful outcomes across our business.

We have also been recognised globally for our approach to gender equality through Equileap’s Gender Equality Global Report. We are certified as a Family Inclusive Workplace, reflecting our commitment to supporting the diverse caring responsibilities of our people and enabling flexible ways of working.

Across all of this work, our focus is on building a culture of belonging - where inclusion is reflected in everyday experiences, leadership accountability and how we operate as a business. We are proud of the progress we have made and remain committed to delivering measurable outcomes over time.
