Building better communities: Mirvac's Commitment to Giving Back

4th April 2024

Each year we hold a National Community Day where our employees bring their energy – and their paint brushes and gloves - to lend-a-hand to local community groups and charities.

It brings our people together and helps build better communities. This year was our biggest ever, with more than 1000 volunteers taking part at nearly 100 different activities across the country, equalling 7,670+ volunteer hours and $735,000 in community investment.

At Mirvac, we prioritise community involvement beyond just one day a year. Our employees enjoy unlimited, fully paid volunteer leave, allowing them to contribute whenever they can. But our commitment doesn’t stop there. We actively support social enterprises and Indigenous businesses by purchasing their goods and services, ensuring that our impact extends far beyond our volunteer efforts.

Mirvac acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters of Australia, and we offer our respect to their Elders past and present.
