Mirvac's two official park openings in one weekend

29th October 2018

Mirvac celebrates the official opening of two parks in Sydney in one afternoon: Galloway Green at CREST, Gledswood Hills, and the 3.8 hectare park at Harold Park, Forest Lodge.

Two official park openings in one weekend is quite a feat and just goes to show the breadth of Mirvac’s activities across Sydney.

At noon on Saturday, Camden Deputy Mayor Theresa Fedeli cut the ribbon at Galloway Green, the park at the heart of our master-planned community CREST in the south-west Sydney suburb of Gledswood Hills.

And then at 3.30pm City of Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore officially opened the 3.8 hectare park at Harold Park in the inner-Sydney suburb of Forest Lodge.

Both parks add to Mirvac’s proud legacy of making a valuable and lasting contribution to creating strong communities wherever we develop.

At Harold Park, where we delivered around 1300 new homes in a parkland setting, Mirvac dedicated more than one-third of the 10.2-hectare site and made a financial contribution to the City of Sydney to create the park which now forms part of a 20-hectare green corridor to the harbour foreshore.

The 6,000 sqm park at CREST, where we are mid-way through the creation of a 600-home community in one of Sydney’s fastest growing regions, will form the vital heart of this new neighbourhood, a place for families and children to come together in a healthy and happy environment.
