Mirvac and Social Traders Launch Third Round of Supplier Development Program

23rd January 2026

Mirvac is proud to announce the third round of its Supplier Development Program, delivered in partnership with Social Traders.

Now entering its third year, the program continues to support the growth of Australia’s social enterprise sector by helping businesses build capability, confidence, and connections.

The program pairs certified social enterprises with Mirvac mentors, who share their skills and industry insights through tailored advisory sessions. Social Traders provides diagnostic and operational support, helping each enterprise become ‘revenue ready’ to supply goods and services to large organisations.

Sarah Clarke, Mirvac Group General Manager, Sustainability, reflected on the value of the partnership: “Social enterprises are businesses that exist to create positive change - whether that’s through environmental sustainability, social justice or economic empowerment,” she said.

“By supporting these businesses to scale, we’re helping them do more of what they do best. It’s also a way for Mirvac to use our purchasing power for good, and to contribute to stronger, more inclusive communities.”

This year, six social enterprises have been selected to take part in the FY26 Supplier Development Program:

  • Goddess Cleaning (VIC) – A commercial cleaning business focused on recruiting and training women from domestic violence and disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Site Cycle (NSW) – A construction waste recycling organisation bringing transparency and cost savings to the sector, with a focus on Western Sydney.
  • Grow Gardens (VIC) – Empowering First Nations youth through gardening, landscaping and environmental services. In partnership with the Killara Foundation, they provide hands-on training and a pathway to long-term employment, with a strong emphasis on cultural connection and care for Country.
  • Austep (QLD) – Helping organisations improve sustainability and profitability through energy efficiency solutions including LED lighting, hot water and HVAC.
  • Forward Thinking Design (FTD) Circular (NSW) – Offering training, consultancy, a circularity supplier directory and a traceability platform to support the built environment circular economy.
  • Natura Pacific (QLD) – Providing environmental consulting services that subsidise the development of education and outreach programs for schools and communities.

Tara Anderson, CEO of Social Traders, welcomed the continuation of the program: “The Supplier Development Program sets a new benchmark for sustainable business practices in Australia,” she said.

“Social procurement is a powerful way for organisations to use the money they’re already spending to create a better future. We’re thrilled to continue partnering with Mirvac—one of our founding members—to support the growth of social enterprises and demonstrate what meaningful impact looks like.”

With strong results from previous cohorts, Mirvac is looking forward to another successful year ahead for the program.
