Mark and his partner have found the perfect retreat from their jet-setting lifestyle at Yarra’s Edge.
“I always feel we are on holiday, watching the ever-changing river and city views from sunrise to sunset, and seeing the buildings and bridges light up at night.”
When Mark Victorsen and his partner moved into Wharf’s Entrance, created by Mirvac Design, they were looking for security and simplicity to their jet-setting lifestyle. What they didn’t bargain for was a home that makes them feel complement like they’re on a permanent holiday.
With its marina lifestyle, lush parkland, and north-facing city views, Wharf’s Entrance offers a distinguished way of life, and is just a short riverside stroll from the popular Southbank and South Wharf precincts.
A typical day for Mark and his partner begins on the balcony of their Yarra’s Edge apartment, where they sip coffee, take in the sweeping river views, and prepare for the day ahead. “I love the balcony – we are always outside whether rain, hail or shine, day or night,” says Mark. “It’s the most used room in our place!”
Everything at your fingertips.
A healthy lifestyle is important to Mark, who makes the most of the inner-city location, where residents enjoy social clubs, playing with their dogs in Point Park and cycling or strolling along the promenade. "I walk everywhere - the supermarket, post office, Myotherapist, and the bank," says Mark.
"I walk along the river for exercise and, during the colder months, I use the gym on level 4." And with the city on their doorstep, as well as fantastic restaurants, and shopping, they both enjoy a glamorous, waterfront lifestyle presented at Yarra's Edge.
With work taking them all over the world, the couple cherish the chance to relax and unwind in their Wharf’s Entrance residence. "What do you love most about returning home after a trip away?" “Knowing that I can finally put my feet up and stop,” says Mark. “Where else but on our balcony!”
