Brett Draffen has over 30 years’ experience across all aspects of the property industry. He was appointed CEO of Mirvac's Development Division in June 2008. In 2013 the role expanded to include Group Strategy and Capital Allocation and in June 2014 he was appointed Chief Investment Officer.

The CIO role has responsibility for Group wide capital allocation, Capital Partnerships, Major Project New Business, Capital Transactions, Build to Rent and Alternative Investments.

Brett is past president of the Property Council of Australia, New South Wales and has served as a national board member.

Brett holds a Bachelor of Business degree, is a fellow of the Australian Property Institute and has completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.
